Serge Lutens Des clous pour une pelure - Eau de parfum
Description :
"Les clous, oh oui, ça fait mal", almost sang Johnny Hallyday in the 1960s, perfecto fitted under the sunlights. In the shadows, the silhouette of a perfumer was probably waiting for the hour of the crime, blue lagoon in hand. Des clous pour une pelure, Serge Lutens' latest olfactory assault, is a paradoxical "eau de politesse" - the line in which it is launched. After a bitter glassful of triple sec, the bartender turns into a mad dentist to treat your moods with cloves. We find the "amber apple" accord worked on for Baptême du feu (orange peel, clove, cinnamon), dusted off and fitted with a metal tip to preach in the desert of mainstream perfumery. A sadistic pastiche of yéyé parties and their sweet cocktails: "The harder the nails, the faster you learn / To become someone who stands up for yourself."
