A tribute to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, whose famous novel exalted courage, Vol de Nuit is a mysterious fragrance. A sophisticated fragrance with an assertive personality, its floral and woody facets blossom into a daring oriental trail.
Vol de Nuit is presented in the legendary "inverted heart" bottle. Imagined in 1912 by George Chevalier as the quintessence of femininity: a subtle alliance of lines and curves, harmonious rounded shoulders and a chiselled cap in the shape of an inverted heart.
Chypre Oriental. Rare, enigmatic, daring. The green note of galbanum at the top of the fragrance beckons. The heart, a cocktail of mixed flowers, is a firework display of daffodil and jasmine, revealing their assertive, impertinent character. At once chypre, woody and exotic, Vol de Nuit is utterly inimitable. With an assertive personality, its floral and woody facets blossom into a daring oriental trail.
In 1933, Jacques Guerlain once again achieved an exceptional creation: "Vol de Nuit". Inspired by the novel by his friend Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, "Vol de Nuit" is dedicated to the woman of action who, like the famous aviatrix of the time, Hélène Boucher, cultivates a love of risk and knows how to assert herself in a masculine environment without losing her femininity.
