THE CREATION The very first Hermès cologne was created by Françoise Caron in 1979. Initially called Eau de cologne Hermès, it was renamed Eau d'orange verte in 1997. Now emblematic, it is distinguished by its lively, green freshness.
OLFACTORY NOTES Eau d'orange verte cologne combines bright orange with the freshness of mint and the woody notes of moss.
THE OBJECT The iconic lantern bottle is adorned in deep green. On the orange box, a contrasting band echoes the bottle's color.
THE HERMES COLOGNES COLLECTION An infinite playground as much as it is virtuoso, the Hermès Colognes collection explores the sensoriality of materials. The result is an immediate, generous pleasure that transcends genres, fashions, ages and seasons.
A founding cologne created by Françoise Caron in 1979, and inspired by the scent of an undergrowth wet with morning dew, this fragrance, which has since become a Hermès emblem, stands out for its singular freshness. Conceived as an explosion of citrus notes, orange plays the leading role, with zest and leaves, lemon, mandarin, mint and blackcurrant buds. Eau d'orange verte reveals its complexity in a unique trail of oakmoss and patchouli.
