1Libre, the anthem of freedom since 2019
Since its launch, Libre by Yves Saint Laurent has become one of the best-selling women's fragrances in the world. Its signature? The unexpected marriage of French lavender — an ingredient historically reserved for men's perfumery — with a radiant, sensual Moroccan orange blossom. 2Santal Couture: what really changes?
Released in July 2026 as a limited edition, Libre Santal Couture is the first woody-floral of the collection. Where previous versions played with vanilla or honey, this one dares a creamy New Caledonian sandalwood, sustainably sourced — as is the orange blossom, grown in the YSL Beauty community gardens of Ourika, Morocco. The bottle, lacquered in brown and trimmed with gold, pays tribute to the house's couture heritage.

3Who is it for, and how to wear it?
If you love Libre but are looking for a more enveloping version for autumn, Santal Couture is made for you. The sandalwood brings a « second-skin » warmth that softens the lavender without erasing it. Perfumer's tip: spray on pulse points and on knitwear, where woody notes last longest. Is Libre Santal Couture really a limited edition?
Yes. Launched in July 2026, it is announced as a limited edition in a 50 ml format. Once stocks run out, there is no guarantee it will return — previous Libre limited editions were never reissued. It is currently available on olara.fr, in limited stock.
How is it different from Libre Eau de Parfum?
The lavender + orange blossom structure remains, but the base changes: less solar vanilla, more creamy wood. The result is a more muted, « cashmere » fragrance, perfect for evenings and cooler seasons.
How long does it last on skin?
Like the other eaux de parfum in the line, expect 7 to 9 hours, with a softer sillage than Libre Intense. The sandalwood and musk notes linger into the end of the day.
